The club entered the two rapidplay knockout events organised by the League (the Lawrance Cup and the Finchley Cup). In the Lawrance Cup, the club defeated Ilford by 6-2 and Wood Green by 4½-3½ (despite conceding two points as a result of a bottom board default) to reach the final against Barnet Elizabethans, but were just edged out by 4½-3½. In round 1 of the Finchley Cup, the club was drawn away to Chingford 2 but conceded the match.
